Graduate from Universitas Pelita Harapan as a Bachelor of Social Science in 2017, have several internship experience such as at Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam for 1 month, 6 months of internship experience at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. I also have a working experience with the Embassy of Kingdom of Netherlands for several days, and with PT Tokopedia as a Resolution Officer for 4 months.   • • Dalam upayanya untuk memajukan industri pertahanan di kawasan Asia Tenggara, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) membentuk suatu kerangka kerja sama yang disebut sebagai ASEAN Defense Industry Collaboration (ADIC). Kolaborasi ini merupakan bagian dari kerja sama forum ASEAN Defense Minister Meeting (ADMM). ADIC dibentuk untuk membentuk suatu platform alat pertahanan ataupun persenjataan yang dapat digunakan secara bersama dengan biaya yang cukup rendah. Negara-negara Asia Tenggara yang terlibat di dalam ADIC pun merupakan negara yang memiliki kapabilitas militer dan industri pertahanan yang cukup mumpuni di kawasan. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini ADIC belum menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan setelah melihat perkembangan signifikan dari kerja sama serupa yang sudah lebih dahulu berdiri di Eropa, yaitu kerja sama konsorsium Eurofighter. Tulisan ini bermaksud untuk meninjau mengenai ketergantungan negara-negara anggota ADIC dalam melakukan importasi persenjataan kepada negara-negara besar di luar kawasan, melalui metode penelitian kualitatif dan kerangka analisis Arms Transfer Dependence dari David Kinsella. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan dari masing-masing negara anggota ADIC untuk bergantung kepada major powers di luar kawasan dalam memperkuat pertahanannya dalam melakukan pembelian persenjataan berat.Dalam upayanya untuk memajukan industri pertahanan di kawasan Asia Tenggara, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) membentuk suatu kerangka kerja sama yang disebut sebagai ASEAN Defense Industry Collaboration (ADIC).   • • The conflict in the South China Sea which took place from 1992 until July 2016 needs to be immediately resolved. The Government of Indonesia has seen many stakeholders strive to alleviate the conflict in a peaceful manner. ASEAN as a regional forum for countries in the region has recognized that Indonesia would need group support to confront China's increasingly unstoppable influence.
      
      It can be seen that in the South China Sea conflict, Indonesia has played a part in the formation of Declaration of Conduct between ASEAN and China and has also established a trust building workshop with the participants. It is extremely important to note that efforts made by the Government of Indonesia in carrying out its role of leadership is absolutely necessary to building mutual trust among the ASEAN countries.
