In his current role, Willy is instrumental in building the team and the organization from the ground up, starting from the transformation of the bank from a traditional, corporate centric business model into what it is today, the first fully digital Sharia retail bank in Indonesia.
He is one of the senior management founding team members of Bank Aladin Syariah [public listed], delivering a vision of financial inclusion to the masses and underserved segments via technology innovations

Prior to Aladin, Willy built his fundamental skill sets and exposures across headliners of Indonesia's fintech and technology firms.
He served as Head of liquidity for GoPay after multi roles stints within Gojek's sales and driver core team which equipped him with holistic insights in the inner workings of one of SEA's leading super app.

Willy was also one of the directors and founding team members in OVO.
Chief among the roles, he established the project management team, led the product team as well as drove the strategic ecosystem / platform optimisation team to unlock potentials and helped OVO to become one of the fastest growing financial technology platforms in Indonesia.

He started his career in banking (capital market) before pivoting to management consulting roles specializing in retail banking and payment with Kearney and MasterCard advisors

A FinTech professional who has worked both in an operating startup setting as well as in a venture/investor setting, Willy is a business driver and strategist with a passion of building high performing teams in multicultural settings
